Youth Services Detectives Searching for Wilondja Brothers in East Nashville Area

Update: The brothers have been located.

Youth Services detectives are actively searching for two young boys in East Nashville that went missing after leaving their home at the Riverchase Apartments to play with friends Sunday evening. Lobeni Wilondja, 7, and his brother, Dazier, 5, were last seen in the Dickerson Pike area near the Citgo gas station.

Officers were notified they did not come home at 8:30 p.m. and immediately began saturating the area to locate them. MNPD helicopters performed two sweeps of the East Nashville area as well.

Lobeni was wearing an orange shirt and Dazier was dressed in all black clothing. The two boys attend Rocketship Nashville Northeast Elementary School.

At this time detectives do not have any reason to believe foul play was involved.

MNPD has been in contact with the TBI on this case. A missing and endangered alert has been issued to assist in this search due to the boys’ ages and current overnight temperatures.

Anyone who may have seen the Wilondja brothers are being asked to call the Department of Emergency Communications at 615-862-8600.
