A Belle Meade woman was assaulted and shot during a robbery attempt Monday night.
Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) released surveillance video of the moment shots were fired at a 26-year-old woman who was walking near Trimble Road and Estewood Drive around 11:30 p.m. Monday night.
In the video, shots fired and the woman screaming can be heard. About 55 seconds into the footage, you can see one suspect run, and another suspect stop and fire two more shots. Four rounds of shots being fired can be heard in the video.
After the shots were fired, the suspects can be seen driving away.
MNPD when she was approached by two men who demanded her phone. The individuals punched her while telling her to be quiet.
When the woman didn’t comply with their demands, she was shot three times in her arms and legs.
The attackers left the scene and first responders transported her to the hospital where she is listed in critical but stable condition.
