Tennessee State University announced the unveiling of a $250 million project by the state to revitalize its on-campus facilities and infrastructure – one of the state’s largest investments in TSU’s history.
TSU plans to use these funds to help eliminate campus safety issues, address deferred maintenance, and invest in academic buildings.
State Representative Dr. Harold Love Jr. says this will be a multi-year project and feels it is important to invest in facilities at TSU.
In the past, TSU leaders have expressed concern about the lack of building renovations and how it could take a toll on the ability for students to learn in the classroom.
