Tennessee lawmaker files federal lawsuit against Speaker, alleging unconstitutional censorship

Five weeks after Rep. Justin Jones was silenced during Tennessee’s special session tackling public safety, the Democratic lawmaker has filed a federal lawsuit against the Speaker of the House, alleging Cameron Sexton has “blocked” him “time and again” from “expressing views on critical issues.”
