Man with Nine Outstanding Warrants Arrested in Whites Creek

A continuing concerted precision policing effort by detectives assigned to a special robbery initiative led to the arrest of Dandre Riley, 30, who fled from police during a traffic stop Friday night. Riley had nine outstanding warrants at the time.

The MNPD Aviation Unit followed Riley in a 2010 Audi Q7 from 26th Avenue North until he stopped on Hickory Hills Boulevard in Whites Creek. Detectives were able to block Riley’s vehicle at an apartment complex and take him into custody.

Riley provided a fake driver’s license to detectives. The Audi registration was able to provide them with his correct identity.

Riley was booked on his nine outstanding warrants, including four felony probation violations and two aggravated assault charges. He is also charged with identity theft, false identification, and evading arrest for last night’s incident.

He is being held on a $30,000 bond.
