Man Charged After Allegedly Shooting Woman at Storage Facility

David Lindsay, 65, is charged with aggravated assault for Monday’s 8:45 a.m. shooting at a storage facility, 1106 McGavock Pike, that critically injured his 55-year-old female acquaintance, Tamela Bolerjack-Dardompre. Both Lindsay and Bolerjack-Dardompre live at the location.

Bolerjack-Dardompre was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where she is in stable condition.

Lindsay admitted that he shot Bolerjack-Dardompre and then hid in a storage unit. Officers located him around 1 p.m. and took him into custody without further incident.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
