Ariel Rose’s death; who to blame for child death by fentanyl toxicity?

FOX 17 News continues to press for answers as to what could’ve been done to prevent Ariel Rose’s death.

The toddler died at a housing facility from fentanyl toxicity, but body camera footage shows she’d been seen at Brookmeade Park’s homeless camp months before she died.

The autopsy shows Ariel had 12 times the lowest reported lethal dose of fentanyl in her system, and died at a North Nashville housing facility back in November.

Ariel’s grandfather, Mickey Rose, says Ariel’s aunt had temporary custody of the toddler at the time of her death.

“When did she decide to take Ariel to that address?” asks FOX 17 News’ Amanda Chin.

“The day before she died,” says Michael.

“Do you know why she took her there?” asks Chin.
